Bob Kullick Bio
Bob Kullick was an American rock guitarist celebrated for his role in the high-profile glam metal bands KISS and W.A.S.P. He was born in 1950 in Brooklyn, New York, and started his musical career in local bands like Hookfoot, and as a touring musician for Patti LaBelle. In 1973 he tried out for a spot as a guitarist for KISS and did not make it into the band, but became friends with Paul Stanley. In 1976 he was featured in a famous record by Lou Reed titled Coney Island Baby. In 1977 he started supporting live and studio sessions for KISS, including appearances in the albums “Alive II” (1977) and “Killers” (1984). Kulick also supported Paul Stanley’s solo career, featuring in his 1977’s self-titled debut, and touring with him in 1989. In the 1980s the artist also worked with Meat Loaf, Mark Farner, Diana Ross, Janis Ian, and W.A.S.P. Kullick passed away in May 2020.
