American rapper SahBabii was born Saaheem Valdery, (on February 24, 1997), in Chicago. He was 13 when his family moved to Atlanta. He attended the Sylvan Hills Middle School and it was during this time period, that he started recording his music.
In 2012, he debuted with his mixtape Pimpin Ain’t Eazy and followed it up with his 2013 mixtape Glocks and Thots. However, both mixtapes received very little attention and Valdery has mentioned that following this failure, he had suicidal thoughts.
