May Angeles Bio
May Angeles is a first-generation California-bred Filipino. Her passion for singing and worship started at a young age, as she recalls her first encounter with the stage in her father’s christian church, at the age of 5 singing “Happy Birthday, Jesus” as the moment she knew she would be a singer. May holds a BA from Vanguard University of Southern California in Music & Worship Arts. She has participated in multiple ensembles touring China, Mexico, Europe, and across the United States, singing in orphanages, churches, and performing in large concert halls such as the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in California, New York City’s Lincoln Center, and Carnegie Hall. She is best known for being the lead singer in the touring band People & Songs.
