Manti Te'o is a former American football player born on 26th January 1991 in Hawaii, United States. He went to Punhou School, where he played football for the team. Honolulu Advertiser named him the state defensive player of the year in 2007. He had an outstanding career in high school, posting impressive stats every season. He later played college football for the University of Notre Dame, where he had an impressive career.
Manti started his professional career with San Diego Chargers after being selected in the second round (28th overall pick) in the 2013 NFL Draft. He signed a four-year contract with the Chargers on 9th May 2013. In September 2016, he joined New Orleans Saints on a two-year deal. In October 2020, he signed a contract with Chicago Bears’ practice squad. His contract expired on 18th January 2021.
