DJ BOY, Tárico Caifaz Samuel Simbine, is a musical artist from Mozambique. He is widely recognized for his multi-genre recordings that have been successful not only in his home country but across Southern Africa. He draws inspiration from music producers like Timberland, Mr. Dino, and Swizz Beatz. His love for music began at a young age. When he was 14, he joined the all-boys music group Afro Madjaha, where he could hone his DJing, composing, and producing skills.
Although Simbine began his career in 2014, it was not until 2016 that he rose to popularity as a producer. His rise to fame and recognition as one of the best artists in the Mozambican music scene was due to his passion for music. He is particularly known for producing the well-received song “Se Aleijou” for the singer Kastelo Bravo. He's also credited for his work on the mega-hit track “Yaba Buluku” from the album “Moz Piano Vol.
