Allison Williams is an American actress who has acted in award-winning movies and TV series. Allison Williams was born on April 13, 1988, in New Canaan, Connecticut, United States. Her career as an entertainer began when she joined an improv group called Just Add Water while studying for her English degree at Yale University. In 2012, she joined the cast of the HBO series, Girls, which went on to be a well-received and critically acclaimed series. Her acting in Girls opened the door to her career on the silver screen. She was cast in the 2017 thriller Get Out which became a cult classic and was well received by viewers and critics alike. Her filmography includes Horizon Line and The Perfection. Some of the nominations she has received include MTV Movie Award for Best Villain, Standout Performance by a Young Actor – Female, and Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
