The ska and reggae band The Dualers made a splash in the music scene with their hit, Kiss on the Lips. The band, originally made up of the brothers Tyber and Si Cranstoun, originate from South East London. They expanded the band, rotating a nine-piece line-up performing with them. The band toured heavily before the release of their debut single, Kiss on the Lips, which hit #21 on the UK chart. Their next single, Truly Madly Deeply, was featured on the soundtrack for Fool’s Gold. The Dualers released over fifteen albums, and toured with the Blockheads and Madness. The band played a record-breaking 11-night residency at IndigO2. The band released their album, Palm Trees and 80 Degrees, without band member Cranstoun, who left to pursue his solo career. The album reached #11 on the UK album charts.
