Tom Papa is an American stand-up comedian, movie and television actor, as well as radio host. He was born in Passaic, New Jersey on November 10, 1968, as Thomas Papa. He started his career in the 1990’s by making numerous appearances on TV shows such as “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”, “Late Night with Conan O'Brien” and “Late Show with David Letterman”. In the 2000s he starred in several movies like “Analyze That”, opposite Robert De Niro, and “Comedian”. He co-wrote and voiced over a character in the DreamWorks animated feature, “Bee Movie”. Papa was chosen by Jerry Seinfeld to host NBC's “The Marriage Ref”. In 2006, he landed a recurring role opposite Julia Louis-Dreyfus on the CBS series, “The New Adventures of Old Christine”, and he got to host his own show, titled “Come to Papa” in 2004. In 2009, he starred opposite Matt Damon in Steven Soderbergh’s “The Informant!”, In 2020 Papa appeared in a Netflix special titled "You're Doing Great!" and he published a book of the same name.
