Kyla-Drew, born as Kyla Drew Simmons, is an American actress who was born on April 17, 2004, in Atlanta, Georgia. She debuted as an actress in 2012 when she appeared in an episode of “The Neighbors”. Her big break, however, occurred in 2013, when she landed the role of Joy Birch in “Prisoners” a crime and drama film starring Hugh Jackman, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Viola Davis. She guest-starred on different TV series, such as “How I Met Your Mother”, “Jessie”, “Castle”, “NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service”, and ”Grey’s Anatomy”. She played the recurring role of Mae Valentine in “Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn” from 2014 until 2018. Drew also played the role of Maria in 2018 “Peppermint”. She played a recurring role in “No Good Nick” in 2019, and she landed a starring role in Netflix’s original “Dad Stop Embarrassing Me”, alongside Jamie Foxx and Porscha Coleman.
