Riton Bio
Riton is the stage name of Henry Smithson, a British DJ and electronic music producer, who is also known as Lil’Papi Riton, Eine Kleine Nacht Musik. Smithson began his career performing as a DJ at the nightclub Shindig in Newcastle. Around those years, he started the Switch Recording label, on which he released his first two singles. He was later signed to Grand Central Records. He then released a string of hits including the dancefloor favorite “Communicated”. His debut instrumental solo album “Beats du Jour” was released in 2001, followed a couple of years later by “Homies and Homos” which featured collaborations with Lee Jones and Luca Santucci. In 2008, Smithson released an album under the alias Eine Kleine Nacht Musik through Modular Records. He launched another record label called Riton Time label, on which he released in 2016 one of his most popular songs todate “Rinse & Repeat”.
