Born on September 23, 1978, Crooked I or legally known as Dominick Wickliffe, started his rapping career during the late ‘90s. He was signed to Virgin. He appeared on Virgin compilations, as well as in other Virgin-affiliated soundtracks like “Girl”, “Gangsta Gangsta”, and “Bounce to This”.
After those early years, he became a free agent for quite some time. Then he collaborated with Suge Knight and then worked for Death Row. He appeared in “Too Gangsta for Radio” compilation. He also performed for the “Dysfunctional Family” soundtrack.
By the time Crooked departed from Death Row, he went on to launch his Dynasty Level Entertainment label. After sometime, in 2008, his first official album was prepared for release entitled “B.O.S.S.”.
