Farhad Nazarinejad, popularly known as Hamed Fard, is a German-Iranian rapper. He was born on June 18, 1989 in Isfahan, Iran. Fard began honing his skills at ten. He lived in the North-Rhine Westphalia city of Gladbeck where he competed in various rap battles as a teenager. In 2016, Fard released his first mixtape, Blut, Schweiss, Tränen & Triumph.
Fard released his debut album Omertà in 2008. Since then, he has released seven more albums including Talion (2009), Alter Ego (2010), Invictus (2011), Bellum et Pax (2013), Talion Vol. 2: La Rabia (2014), Ego (2015), and Bei Fame Hört Freundschaft Auf (2016).
Fard was renowned for using his music to tackle pressing political issues such as poverty, xenophobia, and cultural differences. His first album, Omertà was a huge success. Following 2008's Omerta, Fard released a collaborative project in 2009 titled, Snaga (Talion). On his next project, Alter Ego, Fard teamed up with other mainstream acts like Kollegah, Summer Cem, and Farid Bang.
In 2011, he made it on the German charts for the first time with his new album, Invictus. He then released another album, Bellum et Pax, which peaked at a career-high number three on the German charts.
