Kate Miner Bio

Kate Miner is an actress born 7th September 1984 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. She is widely recognized for appearing in the comedy-drama series “Shameless”. She also appeared in the television series “Necessary Roughness” and “Persons Unknown”. In 2012, she was cast in the political satire comedy film “The Campaign”. She also played Marlon Wayans in the 2016 romantic comedy film “Fifty Shades of Black”.

She has also appeared as a guest in “Grey’s Anatomy”, “The Deep End”, “CSI: Miami”,  “Ugly Better”, “Boston Public”, Two and a Half Men”, “CSI: New York”, “Summerland”, “Secret Girlfriend”, and others. Miner is also a musician. She sings and plays harmonica and mandolin in the band Miner. The band has released feature songs for the series “Hart of Dixie” and “House of Lies”. Their track “Origami Tiger” was also used on the soundtrack of the drama film “Luce”.
