Actress Diane Kruger, was born Diane Heidkrüger on July 15th 1976 in Algermissen, Lower Saxony. Kruger started as a ballet dancer and studied with the Royal Ballet. After an injury, Diane switched to modeling and appeared in campaigns for Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, Giorgio Armani, Christian Dior, Burberry and Louis Vuitton. Kruger walked runway shows for Marc Jacobs, and D&G; and was seen on the covers of Marie Claire and Cosmopolitan. Kruger studied acting at Cours Florent, and made her film debut in The Piano Player. The actress went on to appear in Whatever You Say, Michel Vaillant, Troy, Wicker Park, Narco, and The Hunting Party. Kruger landed a role in National Treasure, and reprised the role in National Treasure: Book of Secrets. The actress starred in Inglourious Basterds, and picked up a Screen Actors Guild nomination for her performance. Diane went on to star in Inhale, Unknown, The Host, The Bridge, In the Fade, and The Operative.
