Marcellus Register (aka BabyFace Ray) is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and actor born on February 7, 1991 in Detroit, Michigan. He was born and raised in Detroit.
His fame started with his 2015 mixtape MIA Season. 2017’s Ghetto Wave and 2019’s MIA Season 2 cemented him as one of the go-to Detroit-based rappers. His popular 2021 EP Unfuckwitable featured guest artists Kash Doll, Moneybagg You and EST Gee. He is also reckoned for his collaboration with G.T. called Gt X Mia. His mixtape My Cup of Tea followed the collaboration.
As an actor, BabyFace is popularly known for Playing for Keeps (2021), Welcome to My Neighborhood (2013) and Shattered Dreams.
