Vasyl Anatoliyovych Lomachenko, better known as Vasiliy Lomachenko, is a Ukrainian professional boxer who fights as a featherweight, super featherweight, and lightweight. He was born in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Ukraine, on February 17, 1988.
Vasiliy began his amateur career in 2007, and in the next five years, he won gold in the featherweight competition at the 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Olympic Games. He also won gold medals at the 2009 Milan and 2011 Baku World Championships, the 2008 Liverpool European Championships, and the 2006 Agadir Junior World Championships.
As a professional boxer, Vasiliy has fought against Roman Martinez, Nicholas Walters, Luke Campbell, and Teofimo Lopez.
