Michael George Vrabel, better known as Mike Vrabel, is an American retired professional football player and coach who played as a linebacker in the NFL. He was born in Akron, Ohio, United States, on August 14, 1975.
Mike spent his formative years playing for Walsh Jesuit High School and Ohio State University, and he turned professional in 1997 when he was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third round of the NFL Draft. He went on to the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs, and throughout his time with the Chiefs, Mike played alongside Jamaal Charles, Bobby Wade, Dustin Colquitt, and Mike Brown.
His career highlights include three Super Bowl Championships, Pro Bowl, New England Patriots All-2000s Team, and New England Patriots All-Dynasty Team. Since he began coaching in 2011, Mike has coached the Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans.
