Naomie Harris Bio
Naomie Harris is an actress born on 6th September 1976 in Islington, London, England. She started acting at a very young age, starring in the 1987 series “Simon and the Witch.” She went on to appear in the fiction series “The Tomorrow People.” In November 2000, she appeared in the post-apocalyptic horror film “28 Days Later.” She also appeared in the television adaptation “White Teeth” in the same year. In 2011, she starred in the stage production “Frankenstein.”
In 2012, she appeared in the James Bond film “Skyfall.” She also became the first black actress to play Moneypenny. In 2013, she played Winnie Mandela alongside Idris Elba in the British-South African biographical film “Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.” In 2016, she appeared in the critically acclaimed coming-to-age drama film “Moonlight.” The film won the Academy Award for Best Picture.
