Andrew Scott Rannells is an American voice actor, singer, and actor. Andrew associated himself with acting very early on in life, taking classes, as a child at the Emmy Guilford children’s theatre and performing at the Dundee Dinner Theatre, the Firehouse Dinner Theatre, and the Omaha Community Playhouse. From September 2000 to August 2001, Andrew voiced the character, James, in the show ‘Pokémon Live!’. Rannells also did voice acting jobs with New York City animation production company 4Kids Entertainment from 2001 to 2004. Rannells appeared in the Jersey Boys’ first national tour. Originating the role of the Elder Prince in The Book of Mormon, he won a nomination to the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical. Throughout his career, he was honored with several awards including the Grammy Award for the Best Musical theatre album. In 2016, Rannells won The Favorite Featured Actor in a Musical in Broadway Audience Awards.
