A rising singer and songwriter from San Rafael in Los Angeles, California, Matt Hansen was born in 2000. Growing up, Hansen attended Ross, California's The Branson School. He has been a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon, one of the major fraternity houses at UCLA, as well as the Alpha Delta Lambda Honor Society, an intellectual community of students, throughout his academic career. Hansen started off by releasing one-minute musical cover videos on his Instagram. Hansen has also had a lot of success on the well-known site TikTok. A music video for his rendition of Coldplay's "Yellow," which received an astounding number of views on TikTok, was made in collaboration with director, cinematographer, and photographer Hunter Moreno. After releasing several musical covers, Hansen made the decision to start releasing his own original music in 2020, starting with the track "Find Me." Hansen's debut song was produced by Johnny What, a well-known music producer.
