MC Lively, real name Michael Sani Amanesi, is a comedian and actor born on 14th August 1992 in Osun State, Nigeria. He rose to fame with his comedy skit titled “Agidi”, which is mainly about the shortage of fuel in Nigeria. He is often referred to as Barrister Mike in his comedy videos. Sani has always had a passion for comedy. As a kid, he loved watching Night of Thousands of Laughs. In 2013, he became an MC and later a comedian.
He got the idea for his hit comedy skit “Agidi” from a pastor’s preaching which was centered around the situation of things in Nigeria. So, he scripted the comedy around the concept and it became very popular in Nigeria. Sani uses Instagram to promote his comedy content and has gained a large number of followers on the platform. In January 2020, he won the Royal African Youth Leadership Award.
