Ellis Genge is an English professional rugby player who plays as a loosehead prop in the Premiership. He was born in Bristol, England, on February 16, 1995.
Ellis spent his formative years with the youth setups at Old Redcliffians and Hartpury College, and he turned professional in 2013 when he joined Bristol. He has since represented the Leicester Tigers and Bristol Bears, and throughout his time with the Bears, Ellis played alongside Charles Piutau, Will Capon, Max Lahiff, and Joe Batley.
He has also played with the English national team at several competitions since his debut in 2016.
Ellis’ career highlights include winning the Six Nations Championship, Autumn Nations Cup, Premiership, and Anglo-Welsh Cup.
