Joseph Carbery, better known as Joey Carbery, is an Irish professional rugby player who plays as a fly-half and fullback in the Premiership. He was born in Dargaville, New Zealand, on November 1, 1995.
Joey spent his formative years playing for Blackrock College, University College Dublin, and Clontarf, and he turned professional in 2016 when he joined Leinster. He signed with Munster in 2018, and throughout his time with the Premiership side, he has played alongside Gavin Coombes, Dave Kilcoyne, Craig Casey, and Peter O'Mahony.
Since his senior international debut in 2016, Joey has represented Ireland at numerous rugby competitions.
His career highlights include winning the European Rugby Champions Cup, United Rugby Championship, Six Nations Championship, and Grand Slam.
