Tony Pollard Bio
Tony Pollard was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on April 30, 1997. He was a student at Melrose High. In his debut season in 2015, he played collegiate football for the University of Memphis Tigers. In 2016, he participated in all 13 games and made seven starts. In his first year of college, he had an immediate impact. Pollard was declared for the 2019 NFL Draft on January 11, 2019. On January 17, 2019, just six days later, Pollard was included in the roster for the 2019 North Senior Bowl as a running back. Pollard was chosen by the Dallas Cowboys in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, 128th overall. He totaled 455 running yards and two rushing touchdowns in his first season, in addition to 15 catches for 107 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown. In the 2020 campaign against the Los Angeles Rams, Pollard gained 10 yards on the ground and 22 yards on two receptions.
