Fans rallied to spread the word, catching the notice of Zane Lowe, who dueted a video of Joe performing a taste of "Fighting in the Car," accelerating Joe's rise.
Joe signed a deal with Neon Gold Records to release his debut EP this summer, and the finished version of "Fighting in the Car" was debuted by none other than Zane Lowe, who said, "I really like this, reminds me of Nada Surf and Weezer."
