Jojo Moyes is a journalist born on 4th August 1969 in Kent, England. She is also an author, having won the Romantic Novel of the Year Award twice. Her books have also been translated into more than 28 languages and have sold more than 40 million copies all over the world. Moyes graduated from college with a journalism degree and worked for The Independent newspaper for 10 years.
In the early stages of her career, her first three manuscripts were rejected. Although she did not give up writing, she vowed that if her four books would be rejected, she would stop writing. She decided to focus fully on writing when her first book, titled “Sheltering Rain” was published. She has so far released more than 14 books.
