Bradley Glenn “Butch” Walker (November 14, 1969) is an American singer, songwriter, record producer and guitarist. Originally from Catersville, Georgia, Butch was known as the lead guitarist SouthGang and as the vocalist and guitarist for Marvelous 3. Performing with SouthGang for only two albums, ‘Tainted Angel’ in 1991 and ‘Group Therapy’ in 1992, Butch along with Southgang members Mitch Mclee and Jayce Fincher, formed a band called Floyd’s Funk Revival for a short period then transformed themselves to Marvelous 3. The trio became popular in the 90’s with their album ‘Math and Other Problems’ in 1997 and ‘Hey! Album’ in 1999. The band no longer released any music after their 1999 album and Butch Walker went on to pursuit a solo career. He began to produce for Injected and SR-71 which landed him a solo contract with record label Artista. Butch released his debut album in 2002 titled ‘Self Centered’ then released ‘Letters’ in 2004. Enjoying the traction from his two solo albums, Butch pursued his production work for big names such as P!nk, Avril Lavigne, Tommy Lee and Lindsay Lohan. It was not until 2006 that he released a third solo album, ‘The Rise and Fall of Butch Walker and the Let’s-Go-Out-Tonites’ along with producing Katy Perry’s album, ‘One of the Boys’. Always being present in the studio, Butch followed his 2006 album with ‘I Like It Better When You Had No Heart’ in 2010 followed by ‘Spade’ in 2011 then came ‘Afraid of Ghosts’ in 2015. His most recent body of work, ‘Stay Gold’ was released in 2016 after working with Taylor Swift on her album, ‘Red’ and Fall Out Boy‘s ‘Save Rock and Roll’.
