The Lowest Pair is an American banjo-duo from Olympia, Washington, that is formed by Kendl Winter and Palmer T. Lee in 2013. Before forming the duo, both Winter and Lee were working in music separately. They met at the Midwest festival circuit, and in 2013, they started to write and perform together. Their first album was titled “36¢”, which was then followed by “The Sacred Heart Sessions” in February 2015. Five months later, their third album, “I Reckon I’m Fixin’ on Knickin’ Round to Pick a Little”, was released. They then started to tour heavily, but that didn’t stop the duo from recording and releasing two new albums, “Uncertain as It Is Uneven” and “Fern Girl and Ice Man”, which were released simultaneously in 2016. After a break, they released their sixth album, titled “The Perfect Plan”.
