Li Bingbing Bio
Actress and singer Li Bingbing was born on the 27th of February 1973 in Wuchang, China. While she was growing up Li wanted to be a teacher and later developed a love for acting. Li went to the Shanghai Drama Institute. Li’s first TV appearance was in 1999 when she starred in the movie Seventeen years.
In 2011, Li appeared in her first English-language film called Snow Flower and the secret fan, produced by Wayne Wang. That same year, Li appeared in another English-language film, produced by British Alastair Paton. Li starred in the 2016 film The Meg with Jason Statham and Cliff Curtis. In 2011, Li won the Jury Award for best actress and in 2017, she won the Asian Film Award for best actress.
Li Bingbing is taking English classes on a daily basis to make sure she becomes fluent.
