Simone Mendes Rocha Diniz, better known as Simone Mendes, is a Brazilian singer and songwriter who performs Latin folk and pop music. She was born in Uibaí, Bahia, Brazil, on May 24, 1984.
Widely recognized by her mononymous stage name, Simone, she gained prominence as one half of the popular musical duo Simone & Simaria alongside her sister Simaria.
