Rainbow Girls Bio
Rainbow Girls is a music group from California, United States. Formed in 2010, the band consists of Vanessa Wilbourn, Caitlin Gowdey, and Erin Chaplin. They started performing alongside other musicians at an underground open mic in Isla Vista. They would later publish self-recorded demos on the internet. They later relocated to California, where they started performing alongside drummer Savannah Hughes. Together, they performed in numerous festivals, including Summer Solstice and Earth Day.
They released their first crowdfunded album, “The Sound of Light” in April 2013. That same year, they went on tour to the West Coast, followed by Europe and the UK. Their second album “Perceptronium” was released in June 2015. Two years later, they dropped their third album, “American Dream”. Their other albums include “Give the People What They Want”, “Rolling Dumpster Fire”, and “Welcome to Whatever”.
