João Mário Naval da Costa Eduardo, professionally known as João Mário, is a distinguished Portuguese soccer player renowned for his dynamic skills as a midfielder in Europe's top soccer leagues. He was born in Porto, Portugal, on January 19, 1993.
His journey to professional soccer began in the youth academies of prestigious clubs Porto and Sporting CP, where he honed his talents. In 2011, he transitioned to the senior squad of Sporting CP, officially commencing his professional career.
