Selma Bacha is a professional footballer born on 9th November 2000 in Lyon, France. She plays for club Lyon, a Division 1 Féminine club, and the France national team as a left winger or left-back. Bacha started her football journey at the Lyon Academy when she was eight. She spent five years at the academy honing her skills. In 2013, former football manager and Lyon's training center caretaker Sonia Bompastor spotted her talent. As a result, she gave her exceptional attention to polish her skills.
In the 2017/2018 season, Bacha inked a professional deal with Lyon. That season, Lyon won the Champions League. She started her international career with the French national team in 2021.
