Alesso Bio

Alesso, short for Alessandro Renato Rodolfo Lindblad, is a Swedish DJ and electronic music producer. He was born in Stockholm, Sweden, on the 7th of July, 1991. Lindblad started playing piano as a child and by age 16 he began to be interested in electronic music. In 2010, he released his eponymous debut EP and in 2011 he began to perform as a DJ. That same year, he entered DJ Magazine’s top 100 DJs list. Since the beginning of his career, Lindblad was mentored by famous DJ Sebastian Ingrosso, alongside whom he would produce dozens of tracks like “Calling (Lose My Mind)”. In 2012, Lindblad toured with Madonna on her MDNA World Tour. In 2014 he signed with Jay-Z’s label Def Jam and he released his debut studio album “Forever” a few months later. Also during that same year, he was nominated for a Grammy Award in the category Best Remixed Recorded for his song “If I Lose Myself”. In 2015, he was ranked at number 13 by DJ Magazine on their Top 100 DJs.
