Otis Roberts (who’s popularly known online as DJ EZ or Easy O or Elvin Zedo) is a British DJ and radio personality who was born on November 7th 1973 in London, England, United Kingdom. He was born and raised in Tottenham, North London, England.
EZ started his radio career at age 15 on the pirate radio station Dance 93FM where he played House music for four years. He was the youngest DJ to have a show on the radio channel. In 1994 he set up his own pirate radio station Dimension FM in Tottenham in which he played mostly rave music and hardcore dance. He also began his own weekly club night called Club Z at the Gas Club in Central London. He is also well known for his 2000 CD compilation Pure Garage. The album sold over 2,000,000 copies and was acknowledged as the best-selling garage compilation series.
Four years later (in 2004) he won awards for Best DJ, Best Old Skool DJ and Best Radio Show at the People’s Choice Music Awards in London.
