Ed Keeling (popularly known as DJ Friction) is a British DJ and music producer who was born in Brighton, United Kingdom. He was born and raised in Brighton.
He started his DJing career back in 1999 and is now one of the most established top DnB DJs in high demand. He makes regular appearances in BBC’s 1Xtra radio shows. His debut release was 1999’s Critical Mass (featuring Stakka) and he has gone on to release over 70 pieces from his shelf. He created and leads his own record label Shogun Audio. Some of the artists under his label include State of Mind, Klute, Teebee, Noisia, and Baron.
Ed has remix credits for famous artists like Wretch 32, Childish Gambino, Example, Maverick Sabre and Feed Me. He has been announced once as the new face of Radio 1’s flagship Drum & Bass show. He was inaugurated at the 2011 Drum & Bass Arena Awards into the D&B Hall Of Fame.
