A Flock of Seagulls is a British band that was formed in 1980 in Liverpool, England, United Kingdom. The founding members of the band include hairdresser Mike Score (lead vocals, keyboards), his brother Alister Score (drums), fellow hairdresser Frank Maudsley (bass) and Paul Reynolds (guitar).
The band rose to fame with their third single I Ran (So Far Away) which brought them out of the hood into heavy rotation on MTV. The tracks music video was a hit taking the song in the American Top Ten and the debut album along with it. The band followed up with Space Age Love Song which peaked at #30. Their most successful release was the Grammy winner D.N.A. Some of their well known releases include Wishing (If I Had a Photograph of You) and The More You Live, the More You Love.
