A-ha is a Norwegian trio composed of vocalist Morten Harket, guitarist Paul Waaktaar-Savoy and keyboardist Magne Furuholmen. It was formed in 1982 in Oslo, later relocating to London. Their first release was the hit single “Take on Me”, but it was not until the third edit of the song that reached popularity very quickly, mainly because of the music video launched on MTV. The band made its debut with “Hunting High and Low”, reaching the top 20 in U.S. Their sophomore effort “Scoundrel Days” came out in 1986 and became more popular than their debut album. A-ha kept on releasing albums, including “East of the Sun, West of the Moon” (1990), and “Memorial Beach” (1993). A live album titled “How Can I Sleep With Your Voice in My Head?” came out in 2003, followed by “Analogue” two years later. Over their career, a-ha have released 32 singles, with 13 of these becoming top ten singles in the U.K, and 14 becoming #1 on radio lists over the world.
