Aarón Sánchez Bio
Aaron Sanchez is an American chef, cookbook author and television personality who was born on February 12th 1976 in El Paso, Texas, United States.
Aaron is well known as the owner of the Centrico restaurant and the judge of Food Network’s culinary competition, Chopped. He got his start as a teenager working with chef Paul Prudhomme. Since then he has partnered with chef Johnny Sanchez in New Orleans and starred on the FOX hit series Masterchef and MasterChef Junior. Aaron also won the James Beard Award in 2014 for Television Studio Program and was also the host for the Emmy-nominated Cooking Channel series Taco Trip.
Other shows he has appeared in include Guilty Pleasures, Best.Ever, Heat Seekers, Chefs vs. City, Best Thing I Ever Ate and Next Iron Chef. He competed with Japanese chef Masaharu Morimoto in Iron Chef America.
