Aaryan Shah (born December 25th, 2003) is an Indian-American alternative R&B artist and producer who went against all odds to achieve his goal of being a musician. Born in Los Angeles to immigrants, the rising music star is known for his lyrical depth and themes from drugs and sex to depression that invoke emotions.
Aaryan hopes to use his music to inspire people, especially those who feel like the minority. As an artistic child, he grew up enjoying painting, singing, and dancing. After scaling through primary school, he dropped out of high school at 15 to pursue his music career. He taught himself how to play the piano and sing.
Inspired by some of the biggest names in the industry like Bruno Mars, Freddie Mercury, and Justin Timberlake, the 21-year-old dropped the single “Renegade” in 2017. The single, inspired by Aaryan’s life, became an instant hit and blazed through the airwaves. The remix with TDE’s Zacari further established Aaryan as an emerging force in the industry. His most recent project is “The Dark Ages,” inspired by the fall of the Roman Empire.
