AB de Villiers Bio
Abraham Benjamin de Villiers, popularly known by the nickname AB de Villiers, is a South African former professional cricket player who was born on February 17, 1984, in Warmbad, Transvaal Province. He debuted as a professional player in 2003 playing for Northerns. He played as a batsman and he holds several records, including the fastest 50, 100, and 150 in ODI cricket and he is also the only batsman to average above 50 with a strike rate of over 100. He is considered one of the best batsmen of history. During his 15 years of professional career, he was awarded the ICC ODI Player of the Year three times. He played for the South Africa national team between 2004 and retired from international cricket in 2018. During his extensive career, he has played in several teams, including Titans, Delhi Daredevils, and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
