Abigail Spencer is an actress born on August 4, 1981. Raised in Santa Rosa County, Florida, Spencer is the daughter of pro-surfer Yancy Bailey Spencer III. She began acting in 1999, appearing in a recurring capacity on the soap opera All My Children. After her role in All My Children, Spencer had several guest roles before landing her first lead role in 2016 as the titular character in Angela's Eyes. She would have several more guest spots before becoming a recurring character in the hit show Mad Men, playing the character Suzanne Farrell. Spencer continued to act in recurring roles in shows like Suits and Hawthorne. In 2013, she was cast in the television show Rectify, which led to a nomination in the Critics’ Choice Awards. Her latest leading television role was in Timeless, which aired for 2 seasons. She has also starred in numerous Hollywood films, including Oz The Great And Powerful, Chasing Maverick, and This Is Where I Leave You.
