Aborted Bio

Aborted is a Belgian death metal band formed in 1995, by the vocalist Sven de Caluwé (also known as Gurglloroth Sven). The other members of the group are Danny Tunker and Mendel Bij De Leij as guitarists, J.B. Van Der Wal as the bassist, and Ken Beden as the drummer. The band released eight studio albums, two EPs, and one live performance video album. They were categorized as being major contributors to the death metal genre by All music. After the formation of the band, they released their first demo tape and they got signed to Uxicon Records. Following this, they issued three splits (on Soul Reaper Records, Bones Brigade, and Listenable Records, respectively), six full-length albums, two EPs, and a DVD. They signed to Century Media Records in 2007 and released Strychnine.213 in 2008, Global Flatline in 2012, Necrotic Manifesto in 2014. Their ninth studio album released in 2016 reached the chart-topping Retrogore. In 2018, Terrovision came, and they ranked number four on Billboard’s Top Heatseekers chart.
