Gabrielle Olivia Mirville better known as Abra was born on March 30 in Queens, New York. She was discovered by Awful Records and she eventually decided to be part of the label in 2014. A year after signing with Awful Records, she released the EP BLQ Velvet. This was followed by another EP, Princess, which was released under True Panther Sounds in 2016. This also marked the first time she released music under a major label. Her first studio album, Rose, which contained 12 tracks was also released in 2015. Some songs included in her debut album are “Lights Interlude” featuring Archibald SLIM and “Shot” featuring Stalin Majesty. Among the most popular tracks by Abra include “Pull Up,” “Vegas,” and “Fruit.” She was also the featured artist on Charli XCX‘s “Drugs.”
