Adam Burgess Bio
Adam Burgess (born 17 July 1992) is a British slalom canoeist who has been competing internationally since 2008. At the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships, he took home four medals, including a silver (C1 team: 2017) and three bronzes (C1 team: 2018, C2 team: 2013, 2015).
In addition, he won four medals in the European Championships (1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronzes). He won the U23 World Championship in C1 in 2015. Greg Pitt was his co-pilot on the C2 boat from 2010 to 2015.
He competed in the C1 event for Great Britain at the 2020 Summer Olympics, finishing fourth, barely 0.16 seconds away from bronze.
