Adam Lynn Duvall is a baseball player born on 4th September 1988 in Kentucky, United States. He currently plays for the Boston Red Sox, which competes in Major League Baseball (MLB). He attended Butler High School, where he played baseball. He later played college baseball at Chipola College, Western Kentucky University, and the University of Louisville. He started his professional career with the San Francisco Giants after being selected in the 11th round of the 2010 MLB draft.
Duvall spent three years in the minor leagues before being promoted to the major league roster in November 2013. He made his MLB debut in June 2014 with the Cincinnati Reds. He began the 2015 season with the Sacramento River Cats before being traded to the Reds in exchange for Leake. Duvall spent three years in their minor league system before being dealt to the Atlanta Braves in July 2018. He agreed to a one-year deal with the Miami Marlins in February 2021. Duvall was once more traded to the Atlanta Braves in 2021. Due to an injury, his 2022 season was cut short. The Boston Red Sox acquired him on January 24, 2023.
