Adam Freeland Bio

Adam Freeland is an English Grammy nominated producer and DJ. He was born on the 7th of August, 1973, in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, England. Freeland is best known for being the owner of the label Marine Parade, which is the home label of artists like Jape, Evil Nine, and Alex Metric. He first began performing as a DJ in 1991, originally mixing deep house and later drum and bass. He started being very in-demand, both in England and in the rest of Europe, before releasing his debut album “Coastal Breaks” in 1996. A few years later, he formed the electronic music duo Tsunami One alongside Kevin Beber. Freeland hosted a music show on the radio, from 1999 to 2001, on Kiss 100 FM, in London. During the early 2000s, he released his debut studio album, “Now & Them”. Around 2010, he formed the band The Acid alongside fellow musicians RY X and Nalepa. Together, they released their debut album “Liminal” in 2014 on Mute Records.
