Adam Shapiro (born May 29, 1981 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, United States) is an actor and director most renowned for his roles in Steve Jobs (2015), Never Have I Ever (2020), and She Said (2022).
Adam Shapiro made his Broadway debut, alongside his wife, Katie Lowes, in Waitress. Since then, he’s performed in other stage plays including The Recommendation, Hey, Morgan!, Rent, Bachelorette, and Assistance. He has also made guest appearances on TV shows, including Gilmore Girls (2003), Medium (2006), The Suite Life of Zack and Cody (2007), The Closer (2009), Grey’s Anatomy (2010), and 1600 Penn (2013).
Besides acting on stage and in TV series, Adam has also starred in many short films including Jewz in the Hood (2005), Short Term 12 (2008), and The Interview (2011) and feature films including The House Bunny (2008) and 'A Single Man (2009). He is a Co-Founder of IAMA Theatre Company and the owner of the Philadelphia soft pretzel company Shappy Pretzel Co.
