Aditya Roy Kapur is an award-winning Indian actor, TV personality, and model best known for his work in film and television. He was born in Bombay, Maharashtra, India, on November 16, 1985. Aditya began his career in entertainment in the mid-2000s when he became the host of the radio show Pakao and the reality TV series India's Hottest, but he made his acting debut in 2009 when he was cast in the film London Dreams. His filmography now includes Malang: Unleash the Madness, Rashtra Kavach Om, OK Jaanu, Fitoor, and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, but he is best known for starring in the drama film Aashiqui 2 alongside Shraddha Kapoor, Shaad Randhawa, Salil Acharya, and Ananya Chadha. Aditya has won multiple awards for his acting including a Bollywood Hungama Surfers' Choice Movie Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role, an Apsara Film Producers Guild Award for Jodi of the Year, and a BIG Star Entertainment Award for Most Entertaining Actor In a Romantic Film.
