Adriana da Cunha Calcanhotto is a Brazilian singer and songwriter who was born on October 3rd 1965 in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. She was born and raised by an Italian father (Carlos Calcanhotto) and a Brazilian mother.
Adriana debuted in 1990 with her first album Enguico which consisted primarily of song covers. One of her popular covers was that of Caetano Veloso’s Naquela Estacao which was included in the soundtrack of the soap opera Rainha da Sucata. Some of her known albums include Partimpim II (2009), O microbio do samba (2011), Margem (2019) and So (2020).
